Project Description

The construction of the Laleh Petrochemical Complex began in 2002 and it was commissioned in 2007. The production technology license for the low-density polyethylene (LDPE) unit was obtained from SABTEC Europe, and its design and installation were carried out by the Lurgi–Sazeh consortium. This complex, with an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons and utilizing a tubular reactor, employs advanced technology that includes stable reactor pressure control, high-quality product output, high safety standards, optimized catalysts, high reaction efficiency, and full compliance with environmental requirements.

Industrial Operations Description 

  • The project involved the construction and installation of 8 ground tanks with a total weight of 350 tons, 5,000 inch-diameter of piping, and the execution of non-destructive testing. In addition, insulation, painting, sandblasting, and the installation of electrical and instrumentation equipment were successfully completed. This project was designed and executed to enhance storage capacity and improve material transfer systems.
  • 13,000 cubic meters of excavation, 750 tons of rebar installation, 25,000 square meters of steel formwork, 17,550 cubic meters of concrete pouring, 350 tons of heavy steel structure, 2,000 square meters of sandwich panels, and 15,000-inch diameter piping lines.
  • Execution of steel structures, building architecture, supply and installation of cooling tower water pipelines, construction of a three-story administrative–restaurant building with an area of 2,300 square meters, and landscaping covering 3,500 square meters, along with the supply of all civil, architectural, mechanical, and electrical materials.
