Fajr Petrochemical Company was established in 1998 with the aim of supplying electricity and steam to the petrochemical plants in the Special Economic Zone of Bandar Imam Khomeini. Its first phase was commissioned in 2002, and with the expansion of petrochemical plants, the company’s services were extended to Sites 2 and 3 of the zone as well.

Description of Execution Works - Fajr 2
Contract Duration: 2009–2008
Installation of recovery and auxiliary boilers
- Complete installation of two Doosan Korea waste heat recovery boilers (manufactured by MAPNA Boiler), each with a capacity of 440 tons per hour.
- Installation of one auxiliary boiler with a capacity of 160 tons per hour.
- Installation of all common and auxiliary equipment along with accessories, weighing over 3,500 tons.
- Pre-commissioning and assistance in commissioning.

Contract period: 2010–2011
Construction of the mosque and restaurant building
- Execution of all building operations including civil works, electrical installations, mechanical installations, fire-fighting system, commissioning, and handover of the building.
