Project Description
South Pars Phase 13 Refinery, located in the Tombak region, 220 km from Bushehr, has a processing capacity of 2 billion standard cubic feet per day (SCFD). The complex includes all processing units, auxiliary facilities, and infrastructure required for the production of export gas, ethane (as petrochemical feedstock), propane, butane, and gas condensates.
The project execution commenced in 2010 by a consortium comprising Petro Paydar Iranian, MAPNA, and SADRA, under the management of Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC), and was implemented as an EPCC contract, covering all stages from engineering design to commissioning.
Industrial Operations Description

- Fit-up and welding of more than 260,000 inch-diameter of carbon steel and stainless steel piping, including painting, insulation, and testing
- Fabrication and installation of carbon steel and stainless steel supports
- Installation of static and rotary equipment along with internal and external mechanical accessories (exceeding 1,500 tons)
- Completion of installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning support of equipment (amounting to 8,000 tons)
- Execution of fabrication, installation, punch list clearance, and pre-commissioning of mechanical equipment, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems
- Commissioning of Trains 3 and 4 of Unit 108 (Sulfur Recovery Unit)
